I am desperately in love with #4. So out of reach.

That's gorgeous. I'm in Minnesota and that might find a way into my garden.

I did this. I found a pink sink to put back in my pink bathroom. An important detail for us was that the sink mounted to the wall, but it came without mounting hardware. I had to have a metal fabricator create a bracket that worked.

It looks perfect. I love how the porch was re-worked.

Great post. I live in Minneapolis and have made good use of these resources. I found a little pink sink at Bauer Brothers that exactly matched my tub and toilet (American Standard, same design, etc) for $40! They threw in the metal legs for free, which was really nice. I also plan to sell some of my original light fixtures to Architectural Antiques.

Fireplace and dining room. We did get our dream neighborhood, so I think it was an okay trade.

I am thrilled. We are using pinks, mauves and dusty yellows in our little house, and they look so cool. (I think.)

Thanks for this. The comments on AT can be surprisingly caustic, which is a shame. I like your 5 suggestions.

How timely! I am picking up my Elfa system on Saturday. I'm planning to paint my closet this weekend and have the thing ready to go by Sunday night. Wish me luck.

@ Megadele - I swear vinegar is the best cleaner ever! I use it basically everywhere, including on delicate silk tops that I don't want ruined by the dry cleaner.

Gorgeous. I've been painting my mid-century house in pastels, but I've been choosing murky, grayish versions. These pictures are so cool.

I second the brasso. I have seen lots of good lamp re-works on Better After, and sometimes a punchy red or green on the brass can change the whole feel. I like the lamp as is, but if you're going to paint the brass only, I would go for a contrasting color that would be a quirky surprise in your home.
