Nice article. For those on a tight budget who don't want to shell out the $ for a Snowball, try using a RockBand mic and see if you like the quality. I've used one before to make a student film for a class, and it worked great.

Nice post! I'm ALL ABOUT packing light. Another good bag would be a Belkin slim-fit backpack. It has padding for your laptop/tablet, and a good amount of pockets. It's nice and slim so you don't look like you're hiking the Appalachian trail and it won't get in anyone's way if you're riding public transportation.

Office supplies are GREAT to use as makeup storage. File organizers hold palettes and drawer organizers hold smaller compacts, etc. Lazy susans are useful too.
