Emedarwash - are you by any chance moving to India? My family moved to Mumbai three months ago and it's been great. Furnished apartments are plentiful, and online shopping (though mainly COD) is reliable and selection is good. Not much of a problem finding all our favorite foodstuffs and replenishing our toy collections. A really important thing to do is hook up with some other expats, who give constant and invaluable advice, as well as a social outlet! I'm a member of this expat family group and it's helped me a lot:

You can avoid much of the inhalant issue by spraying into your hand and then rubbing it on your child. Then you also know you didn't miss any spots.

I used Merry Maids to clean my new house before I moved in... they did a really meh job. Just kind of wiped things down, and didn't clean thoroughly at all (missed lots of areas, windows not cleaned, appliances not cleaned). Wouldn't recommend them.

What's so "shady" about these places? You should just buy it from the place in the Village. They have it, you like it... ?

Would be great for my bedroom in my new little house!
