The Room & Board Wegner chairs are authentic and manufactured in Denmark. (The "Details & Dimensions tab gives country of manufacture.) But . . . can anyone recommend a NYC source for a replica of the Wegner "easy chair" CH 25? The original is beyond my means, but orthopedically, I covet it. Can anyone direct me to NYC location where one can find a more affordable replica of either the Wegner easy chair (CH 25) or the Wegner plank chair (GE 290)? The plank replicas are available on-line (all from Australia!), but one wants to try them out, before buying. The easy chair original is at Room & Board, & for a person with back problems, it is divinely comfortable. And beautiful. Thank you!
