Very funny! Our kids had very little say in how their room was decorated, that said, it's nothing like the kinds of rooms you show here. We (That really means I) are freaks for cardboard at our place! This activity is going to go down a treat as the two year old already helps out when we make real pizzas. We basically live ikea nowadays. We still have some great pre kiddlet pieces that seem to be holding up fairly well. We've opted for a floating floor as the boys have ruined our once relatively ugly, but clean carpets. If we can wipe it down, we're happy. Our sofa is fabric, kind of carpety (if you know what I mean), I cannot recommend to avoid this type of material enough!!! Stay away from this!!! Crumbs, crayons, yogurt and baby vomit are but a few things that have made their way into the weave. We make them eat at the table DAMMIT! I'm desperate for a good hard wearing leather couch. Nice tutorial, I have been saving casters for years looking for something to make with them. Regardless of the little ones, I think I want one for myself! I'm in two minds though on the whole screen time for little people thing. Part of me says, "they grow up too young", The other part says "This is the world we live in, embrace it". Today I choose to embrace. The Kindle fire looks RAD!
