I've always lived in sub-500 sf apaces with 1-2 cats, and I swear by the pine litter. My cats like it (you have to ease them into it), its more natural, you can flush the solids which makes clean up easy if you keep it near the toilet, and the liquids just turn the pine pellets into sawdust which if you shake the pan now and then (whenever I go into the bathroom) makes the room smell like ver mild pine-scented cleaner and not cat litter....

What was the tart pictured in the email update sent linking to this entry? It was a custardy tart with a few kumquat slices strewn across the middle - it looked good, and does not seem to be pictured here?

Gorgeous, well-curated home, but I agree with @Lyonstill, it is definitely missing something: warmth, or maybe flaws which bring out its personality. It looks like a Dwell article, curated for photographs, but not necessarily living. Almost too perfect, maybe?

@amycywang, I make my daily breakfast everyday with an immersion blender. In fact, I use the tall cup that comes with it bc it has measuring marks on it. As long as you keep the end low enough (and turn it off as you bring it up to mix it) nothing spills out.

I also add a scoop of protein powder (whey) to the above ingredients so I have a frosty, healthy breakfast which keeps me full till lunch!

Is no one else really going to ask?

Is it a combination of ancient names - I have never heard of it before...
