@Thepeppershaker: Guinness is recommended for breastfeeding mothers. Not only does it help a lactating mother's milk "let down", it also gives much needed iron, and helps with relaxation. All three are integral to breastfeeding. It takes approximately 30 minutes for the alcohol to reach breast milk and about 2 hours for it to wear off. So a lactating mother can safely drink a beer and never worry about the alcohol reaching her child.

These Taco Boxes rock! I love the vessel and the ingredients, it's really the greatest thing.

Hi Missizzy: Actually, I've never broken a plate or a glass due to the open shelves. Most of them have the wire "rail" from the stairs behind, however; we are very conscientious to really only have what we need on the shelves. By not overpacking them, we're able to have ample room for all things. This being said, John always says that the glassware in my house lives in fear, though that is solely due to my clumsiness and has very little to do with these shelves.

We spent a fortune on our marital bed, for a Sealy Perfect Sleeper and it was worth every penny. We see it as an investment for the next decade or more. We spend a lot of time in this bed, are raising our family in this bed and, most importantly, are trying to become well rested in this bed. Well rested couples are happy couples.

A great product? Yes. A great design? No.

This is a design competition and this product, while efficient, is simply a product. Design is beautiful, it's art, it's expression. This is a space saving gimmick that while useful is certainly not art.

I am profoundly disappointed by the response this has received.

Wow, we are looking at buying an Oeuf & I just checked out the baby mod at Walmart. Despite the significant (WOW!) price difference, I think we are still going to buy the Oeuf.

At least with the Oeuf, we know that we are directly supporting a family business, that has sourced its materials ethically & sustainably, not to mention that they are not exploiting their workers to achieve a low price.

Also great if you are trying to be more observant about the amount of oil you cook with. I love it.

Not at all! We bought one years ago and while it is fine, I wouldn't buy it again. Not for the price!

Green apple, kale, celery, cucumber, ginger and an entire lemon with the skin is my favorite tonic. Makes me feel right every time.

This is the same way Tequila is made. The Pina, or the pineapple like heart of the Agave succulent, is cooked to create the Miel de Agave, which is then fermented to create a wine that is distilled into a spirit. Lots of processing that could ultimately lead to harm on your liver and other organs.

My cat can smell cheese from the other side of the house. It amazes me how good his nose is. He also only likes very good cheese, preferring Epoisse to Cabot Cheddar any day. Guess it runs in the family.

On another note, he can sniff out the cat-haters instantly and always makes a point of hanging right next to them whenever I have a cat-hater in the house. I think he knows he's torturing them and it gives him pleasure. It certainly makes me chuckle.

Sadly all my purchases from Baker Creek have very low germination rates, so keep an eye out on that. Love their catalog though!

Sounds like a crappy architect. I wish my husband could get paid before a potential client! I guess only lawyers and doctors and architects from 15 years ago have that ability.

Ordinarily when my husband gets hired, potential clients will have several meetings with him, will visit previous projects, look through his portfolio and have the opportunity to speak to his previous clients if they like. Websites should also show the majority of projects.

Me four.

I am married to an architect, not a starchitect but an architect. A person who studies codes, setbacks and zoning laws along with materials, applications and, finally, design. The amount of time and energy that goes into his work astounds me.

I never imagined spaces could be transformed so dramatically before I met him.

Nor could I ever have dreamed living in the quality of space I get to live in now, had I not opened my mind and heart to an architect.

It's a shame that so few people recognize the true value in an architect's work outside of the shocking buildings popping up by starchitects around the world.

Check out www.infectious.com for something similar but less taxing environmentally. Rather than using plastic cases, they have developed a sticker that does not leave a sticky residue on your phone/car/wall, so you can change it whenever you want. Plus their products are much cheaper, around $15/pc.

(Note: I do not work for the company, am solely a fan. Presently I have designs on 2 computers, 2 ipods, 1 iphone and a Mercedes Station Wagon).

I applaud you! Your space is incredible & I can see that it is on its way to becoming even more so. Good for you. Sorry so many of these AT posters are too dense to realize that yours is a work in progress.

I switched to Firefox a few weeks ago & notice that it crashes constantly. I also find the browsing speed to be slow, perhaps these adjustments will help.
