These are really lovely textiles. In fact there are many different varieties - from very fancy ones littered with sequins to plain and simple wool capes. If you ever get the chance to buy an authentic vintage blanket (these days, so many are just woven for sale), check out its size - they were woven to fit the bride so there are lots of different sizes, and when looking at one you can almost imagine the women who used it!
