Cute! The book exchange is a nifty idea.

It makes a big difference whether you're reading these suggestions as a parent of a three-year-old or a thirteen-year-old. The commenters who are getting steamed up that these suggestions are "too mean" may be thinking of how their preschoolers would react, not someone else's teenagers. My kids are old enough that they would think the yard sale thing was funny.
