Geez, I couldn't even get my slow cooker out from where we keep it with only one hand. Me, I'd be embracing frozen veggies, eggs and toast.

Looks like a great use for that non-iodized salt my husband brought home for some reason! I just bought a jar of kimchi and was surprised how expensive it was. New project!

Nope. The only one of these things I used to do was disassemble the blender, but got rid of it.
I imagine crumbs just fly into the knife block if it's anywhere near your workspace. I keep my KitchenAid on the counter because it's so heavy to move and I always have to wash the bowl (frequently full of crumbs) before I actually want to use it.

My husband--nobody's cook--is always schooling me on the right way to store things. I thought bread lasted longer in the fridge and that it's OK to keep potatoes in the fridge, although I don't--wrong on both counts!

I love kale! The texture is the best part for me--I like that it has some chew. Helps me get out some of my aggression, haha. And the flavor goes great with lemon, garlic, and spices, some of my favorites.

For a slightly different perspective . . . you don't have to get your kid's volunteer religious education teacher a gift! I taught at a wealthy parish once and was slightly embarassed by some of the lavish gifts I got from 1 hour of volunteering a week. However, I did get a few notes from kids and appreciated it so much, I still have them.
