One of my new year's projects is to convert all our cleaning products into eco-friendly, and chemically safe products. I've been using the Environmental Working Group (www.ewg.org) as a reference and it seems most of the Mrs. Meyers and Method products have dismal ratings. Am I missing something? Is there another resource anyone can recommend?

I've had a Clarisonic (the full size, not the Mia) for a few years and without a doubt its one of the best skin care investments I've made. Makes way more a difference than some of the expensive products I've gotten suckered into buying over the years. We have a linen closet that adjoins our teeny bathroom so my huz installed an outlet in the closet and it works beautifully and keeps our counters clutter-free.

Please get rid of that ruffled grey throw pillow on the bed. Perhaps a punchy geometric neon printed pillow would help tie in the fun neon mirror and tutu? Actually, a new bedding scheme in general might help tie in some of the elements a bit better. Not sure how to address the bed/armoire easily (other than a listing on Craigslist).

My dad proudly got me a label maker a few years back. So practical, and fits my nearly-OCD organizing personality perfectly. It does make me smile every time I use it.

I love to give (and receive) high-quality eco-friendly cleaning products. If you stick to a commonly used product (dish soap, all purpose cleaner, laundry detergen) they are almost guaranteed to get used up, and make something that is normally a chore much more pleasant. I love Caldrea products, but you can find lovely homemade products at craft fairs and etsy too. Of course, this is a non-starter for those poor allergy sufferers.

From looking at all the photos, it looks like the family has grown from 5 to 6 people. Perhaps one child got married/has a SO and they are planning to include the whole family (children, spouses, grandkids) as it grows? I think it's hilarious, I would certainly look forward to receiving their card in the mail!

Liberty of London has a really nice collection of ceramic money boxes of unusual animals (badgers, sheep, mallard, guinea pig etc.) and at only 18£ or so they are a good deal - and they ship!

Hi SusanTX, I believe the photo is from a previous House Tour (Diane's Cozy Colorado Rockies Cabin Retreat). I don't believe she had listed a source on the living room drapes but maybe posting under that House Tour would help?

We actually just got the RH Belgian Linen duvet and shams (on sale). They are awesome and are ever so soft. I'm a bit of a bedding freak so I wasn't sure if the wrinkles would bother me, but I actually love the look of them. Its definitely a casual look though. I'm actually mulling over the purchase of sheets now. I do wish they would sell sheeting items separately as I really only want a fitted sheet and pillowcases because we euro-style it and skip the flat sheet.

Anyone have another source for linen sheeting?
