I love animal prints for children & adults, I just feel displaying the silhouette of a dead animal on the floor (even if it´s a fake one) may not be the best way to teach children to love and respect animals... Are Animal Prints Suitable for Kids' Decor? |

I can´t help feeling mortified by the image of a dog in a cage... Although I love the room, that makes me feel I can´t fully like it :( Before & After: No More Wasted Wall Space in This Home Office |

I try to go to this bookstore every time I can and have a nice cup of coffee there with live music being played by some musician in there :) I read some time ago it was chosen as the second most beautiful bookstore in the world, and it certainly is! Lovely to see the city in live in at AT :) Thanks for sharing! I must say that, although I was born & raised in BA, I still see myself many times as a tourist in here :) Apart from the places that have already been mentioned, I would also recommend not to miss the old cafes in here... They just make you fly away back in time... They have been named as "Cafés Notables" (Notable cafes) by the government because of their hisotical & cultural importance (and because of their great old style!) and they are located throughout the city. And yes, BA is worth taking a trip just to stay here... although I would highly recommend to visit our country side and spend time amongst "gauchos" and enjoy the best "asado" (kind of barbecue, but far better! :) and/or to cross the river Plate and visit wonderful neighbouring country, Uruguay (especially Colonia del Sacramento, Montevideo -the capital city-, and all the holidays resorts in there. Uruguay is more expensive than Argentina, but BA is not THAT cheap either :(. Depends on your budget, but don´t come expecting very low prices... Buenos Aires for Design Addicts |
