I love this apartment – especially the lofty ceilings and the two generously scaled rooms. However, if it were mine, I'd definitely make that dressing room the bedroom and the bedroom would become the dressing room. Having the bed pushed up against the wall, is a quite an inconvinience, making it a nightmare to makeup and if two people are sleeping in the bed it's difficult for one to get up without disturbing the other. I'd much prefer a spacious bedroom than a large and too public dressing room. Of course, what's ideal for me isn't necessarily the same for someone else. Try the art department at a nearby university or college. Student and recent graduate's work is usually quite affordable. I'd rather have a big original oil painting than a mass produced print. Also, students and young artists usually need all the help they can get. 13 Online Sources for Affordable Art |

The wonderful patina on the walls coupled with their choice of furnishings give the space a very poetic and romantic atmosphere. I really like it. Meera & Arjun's Life as Newlyweds House Call |

I agree with the comments of others regarding furniture placement. The sitting area furniture arranged in the style of the 17th and 18th centuries with everthing lining the walls would be better if changed. Overall though, I really like the overall feel of the place and his assemblage of unusual possessions. Kelly's Globe-Trotting DC Condo House Tour |

Ice is kept foremost. I keep frozen spinach, artichoke hearts, green peas, and pearl onions, also individually frozen strawberries and peaches, plus individually frozen shrimp with no additives, homemade chicken and beef stock, and a few chicken leg quarters and breasts. Then there is usually a few quarts of hearty homemade soups and stews in autumn and winter. I wish there was room for more. Freezer Power! A post about trends and sheep, too funny! I never sheepishly follow trends — oh, excepting those ridiculous bell bottoms back in the ’70s. That was a lesson learned and never repeated. I'll definitely be passing on polka dotted walls. Trend Spotting for 2013: Polka Dots |

I like both. However, I'm glad to see the long reign of white medals waning. I'd love a beefy parsons style dining table in brass or gilt wood. I'm not sure about what kind of top to go on it. Any Suggestions? Gold or Silver: What's Your Main Metallic? |

@ScuttledCuttle, maybe they're alluding to the weeds in the little vases. Although, those weeds look more yellow-green than blue-green to my eyes. Perhaps, I'm becoming color blind or my monitor needs color calibration. Aqua Accessories: Blue Green Heaven |
