@LyonStill - Yep the ceiling was already there, not a huge fan, but stuck with it for now

I had the kitchen curtain from the last apartment, that only had 1 window. I wasn't able to find another one for the second window, so definitely need to find 2 of the same for both windows.

@yeah, i answer to red- the rug came from homegoods.

@jettsam - yep the desk is from ikea. i love it because its huge and gives me lots of work space, yet breaks down into 3 small pieces that I can easily carry myself.

Maybe try a bright colored carpet to cover a portion of it and then coordinate that with a few matching colored accessories. Black, white and bright pink can work well together. Or they also make peel and stick floor tiles which you may be able to put right on top of these. I kind of like the floor this way though.
