This is such a hostile remark. Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. Everyone has their own situation and circumstance. It's not about what you "get" or "chose" to do its unfortunately what you're dealt sometimes. When family doesn't help and husbands don't take off work and don't help anyway you're screwed. Not all SAHMs are privaledged.

I went to a Montessori and then a normal elementry school. I would have loved a school like this to graduate into. I think life would have been much easier and I probably would have been less introverted.

You can get that film that you adhere to glass at home depot. I comes off without any damage. That's what I did at my urban ground level apt. Who said you're paranoid? You're not.

Yes butterfly chairs and blow up furniture. Don't ask just do. Bean bags are too hard to hide, too bad though. I agree that large pillows are great and you can place them behind your back while laying on a thick covered piece of foam that can be rolled up and placed in your closet later.

Why is this stupid? My friends on Kauaii have a compost toilet and that seems to be sufficient but this one uses water. That seems more sanitary than throwing saw dust everywhere. I think it's nice.

I'm interested in buying one of these for my husband for his birthday. Does anyone have advice on which one is good for an iPhone but won't be outdated for an affordable price. This is a great list. Does anyone have these?

I have similiar space issues, a 3.5 boy and almost 2 year old girl who are happy with the few toys that they have that fit into a small closet, including bikes. They both play with wooden trains, small toy cars, baby dolls, blocks, fabric tunnels, they make art, musical instruments for children, balls, stuffed animals and some yo gabba gabba action dolls. They really don't need much more, except of coarse a few bath toys of coarse and bubbles. Junk toys are such a drain on our environment. Ohdeedoh had that great green toy list and this is a wise list for a new parent. I will pass it on. :)
