Made this today - awesome. I actually did it all this morning because last night I was tired and our brunch guests weren't coming till 10:30 (and we have a seven month old so sleeping in is in the past...). Very easy, delicious, pretty healthy. Next time I want to try it with duck!

That shelf thing is brilliant! I never would have thought about foamcore to do something like that.

Very cute! And I love the black monster face pillow - where is that from?

Very impressive. What are the strings over the chicken run area for?

Apparently I'm in the minority here - I think it's kind of neat. Sure, the dryer trap catches people and (in my house) dog hair along with lint, but we have dog hair on everything and I don't think it's that MUCH hair in the trap. It's not enough that I notice it when I clean it out. Not sure if I'd do it, but I think it's an interesting way to reuse material that comes from your clothes and other possessions, and, y'know, your head.

This year I'm hoping to have a baby who's a few days old so that I don't end up having to be induced - I was due the 26th and nothin' yet. So if he could come in the next few, that'd be sweet.

In the future, I'm thinking massage.

Those are really cute! I do think they'd be super easy to make, like small versions of the Martha Stewart poms.

Hi all - thanks for all the ideas so far! I really appreciate it.

My husband is anti-roller blind (even though I've shown him cool ones with stuff painted on them) so I think that's out.

I love Roman shades, but we still want to be able to open the window and I think mounting that style of shade on the frame would preclude that. Would it look weird to get an extra-big shade and mount it above the window? I feel like yes, but I'm not sure.

I like some of the window films I've seen, but that would block the light all the time, and that room doesn't get much as it is.

Right now, I'm thinking full length curtains are our best bet - I was worried that would look weird with all the wall underneath, but since several people have suggested them, I'm going to try it! And I may look at swing curtain rods so that we can show all of the window when we want to. (Our house is a 1926 bungalow and the quirky windows were a good part of why we bought it in the first place.)

Thank you thank you! And any other suggestions would certainly also be appreciated!

Correction: now it's legal to catch rainwater in PARTS of Colorado - if you have a private well. I live in Denver and it's still illegal for me.

Fraise: Interesting interpretation. I've always thought of it like "recover" without the R, as in it is helping your house recover from dirt and the planet recover from toxic chemicals. But I guess the way the logo is split into blue and green probably makes my way make less sense.

I live in a painted brick house, and it's blue, though not cobalt - more of a sky blue with cobalt trim. That's how it was when we bought it, but I love it. It makes my house stand out and gives it a sense of whimsy. Eventually we'll have to repaint, and I don't know if I'll stick with blue or switch it up, but it's fun to have the option.

The whole house is lovely (a few pieces not to my personal taste, but they combine very well) and I really enjoyed the explanations on some of the pictures - knowing the background to a photo always makes the tours more compelling for me.

My favorite part, though, was the photo titled, "morecowbell." Awesome.

Well, you can see me reflected in the glass (it's a bright sunny day here in Denver) but here's how mine came out - I'm very pleased!

Just so you know, I ordered my frame and mat from an ebay seller: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Custom-Framing-Factory-Outlet__W0QQ_armrsZ1

Pricing is very reasonable, and if the size and style you want isn't listed, just email him and he'll make whatever you need. I've always been happy with the quality.

I bought that print too! I'm doing a white mat (3 inch border) with a flat black wood frame - I've ordered both but they haven't arrived yet. When they do (should be the next few days), I can show you how it came out if you want.
