Beautiful! I think, to add interest to the large angled front room wall on the right, if you could wallpaper that in a paper that is white, maybe with a silver sheen and soft pattern. By wallpapering a large accent wall, you get that room division you were talking about. Add molding around the edges to make a clear division if you need.

love it and that mermaid vase is so charming! and from someone who has family and lives in kansas city, missouri, I'm amazed that such a fun and eclectic family lives there!

I think if you added some white pieces, terra cotta and perhaps some pale blue as well to the kitchen decor, then you may like what you have to a degree. I think the tiles seem more french country than not.

You could order white or cream vinyl squares from etsy or something to place on top of them if you wish.

love it, amazing space and wonderful 'bones', the tree rug in the book room was beautiful. I'd love to see a different type of rug in the main room, maybe a seagrass, or something with different colors altogether, or no rug at all. the dessert colored stripes just doesn't work here.
