Great workspace with a nicely functional layout. With that said, I'm pretty sure being surrounded by paintings that appear to be people drowning would make me have nightmares.

I'm a big fan of music while commuting. My statement is specifically about the noise canceling ear buds. I'm glad you're enjoying the ones that you have. Perhaps years of commuting experience has heightened your other 4 senses so you have less of a need for hearing :) (although, for your sake I hope taste isn't being used as a method of identifying your surroundings)

Wow, there are a lot of "high & mighty" people responding on this blog post. It must be satisfying to not have any bad habits or issues that impact the people around you. How wonderful you are as you help little old ladies cross the street, never get road rage, only eat vegan food, of course not smoke (how dare people add toxins your air. After all, you do drive an electric car), always give up your seat on the bus, and never judge others for their failure to live up to your standards. We can all learn something from your example. Where is this utopia in which you live?

I don't necessarily agree that basic computer maintenance is so awful that it warrants a blog post, but to each their own. You hate computer maintenance, I hate doing the dishes.

With that said, what is horrible, or more importantly depressing, is the thought of having to sit in that white walled, broken tile, tiny window, absolutely no charm of an office in the first picture. Those windows do nothing but remind you that the world is beautiful and you're stuck in this small white room with nothing but a laptop (that probably has a virus because you hate doing basic computer maintenance).

For guacamole, once you're done mixing & preparing it, you can put the pit in the bowl. For some reason that keeps the guacamole fresh and prevents the avocado from browning

I just want to warn folks about the Kong. If your dog has the ability to tear apart toys, and expands on the opening at the end of the Kong, it doesn't take much for the toy to get completely wedged on the lower jaw of the dog. I know from experience. I do not recommend that toy for any dog, regardless of how aesthetically pleasing it is.

Wow! That's fantastic. Although, I wonder if there is a stain that can be used and is food safe. It's too bad it can't be used as a cutting board with the stain that gave it that great distressed look.

Perfect! It's such a simple design, it's surprising no one else thought of it.
