More kind thoughts- thank you all! The bedspread is from Bed Bath & Beyond- can't remember the brand. There is a simple nightgown on the dress form from Kiyomi (I bought it as a boutique in Knoxville, TN) and the print in the background is from the Alameda Flea Market. To homes and heels- the ceiling isn't done in metallic paint, but the diffused light in my room certainly gives it that glow. Still, for metallic paint I really like Modern Masters and Gold Fluid Acrylics- and for really sparkly gold tones- Chromatone latex. It's the brand used for many of the Painted Ladies out here in San Francisco. You'll love it. Use a bright orange base coat first for the best shimmer. Thank you for the wonderful comments, everyone. The wing chairs in my bedroom are actually a second-hand pair I picked up for $75 dollars and painted. I sketched out the flame-stitch-esque pattern on one chair then used tracing paper to match the second one.
