May I suggest tung oil? It will protect the wood and can be easily repaired and restored periodically with a light sanding (just samll area or whole surface) and wiping on another coat. When I was a den mother, I had to make minor repairs every month. Now I just restore the finish every year or so. Easy and durable! How To Finish Recycled Wood Table? Good Questions |
