I purchased an Ikea (Whirlpool) fridge less than a year ago. Now the fresh food section no longer gets cold and all my produce is spoiled. I called them about repairing it as it's still under warranty. They basically wanted to charge me $75.00 to have someone come out and assess what the problem was and then determine if it's under warranty. No fridge should break in less than a year. I'll be buying a new fridge and no longer dealing with any Ikea product.
