I have some mass-produced art... in the bathroom. I don't want blank walls, but I also don't want something I actually care about to get ruined by steam from the shower. This is the ONLY place I'd actually put something like this.

If you like the couch otherwise, and you're just worried about going outside the lines of modern design, I say keep it. I really like the way a mix of modern and traditional looks, personally. If it's comfy and in good shape, just get it some really edgy, modern throw pillows and paint the legs lime green or something.

I saw this at the MoMA earlier this month and was really impressed with how much was crammed into such a tiny space. An espresso maker! A flatscreen tv! High speed internet! A double bed! The bathroom is the best part though, it's just a toilet and a wand shower. Talk about scaled down.

Assuming I get the whole $600, I am sending $450 to my credit card company, opening an Orange savings account with $100 and spending $50 on whatever I want (something frivolous).

This article reminds me why I should stay in my tiny studio for at least another year. At only $1500/month (only!) for a pre-War, elevator building with a live-in super, it's a total bargain for the UWS. Thank you AT, you're saving me money.

I used to live a block away from this complex while it was being built/refurbished and was very impressed with the final exterior once they were done. Now I'm even more impressed with the interiors! Gorgeous. I do wonder though... are the original hospital buildings haunted? Would be interesting to know if anyone hears or sees odd things around there.
