Give it a super scrub down. Bleach pens! Paint the walls a crisp, clean white. Keep your accessories to a minimum. Add colors that work with the floor tile. Choose a pop color, like teal, to create some energy and excitement. Paint the cabinet a nice neutral tone a few shades lighter then the floor tiles. I say work with what you have, and make it your own!
