Edgewater is such a fantastic neighborhood...makes me miss living there desperately. The character of this place is incredible and I actually love that it's so close to the El.

My husband and I are in the process of searching for a home now. We moved out of our last home knowing that we would have to live with my in-laws for a short period of time, but we were ecstatic when, after writing an offer the day we moved, it was accepted. Inspection was scheduled, which revealed wood-to-ground contact. When we called a family friend in to give us an estimate for repair, we found out the foundation was equivalent to a pole barn. I knew the home was too good to be true. Goodbye acre pond, 4 wooded acres and outbuilding with AC and heat.

Living with in-laws makes the process even more emotional...I get attached to the houses because I'm just so ready for us to live on our own again. We wrote an offer on our third potential house last night...now it's just time to sit back and wait. *Sigh*
