Looks like a good way to incorporate the look of cowhide without having to use the real thing, too. Smaller pieces are easier to pass off as 'real' without looking fakey like most artificial cowhide rugs etc. tend to. Before & After: From Faux Finish Fail to Fabulous The V Spot |

The glassware and picture frames aren't too bad. The patterns are nice in small (very small!) doses. But those commercials, showing EVERYTHING done up in the design, makes me dizzy :P Missoni For Target: The Sad & Sold Out In-Store Look |

Interesting. Since I was around seven or eight I have had an absolute abhorrence of lip smacking and loud chewing. Twenty-some years later and I still can be put IMMEDIATELY into a foul, sometimes downright angry, mood on hearing someone noisily chewing and popping gum. Thoughts of ripping the offending chewing gum out of the person's mouth or asking them what the heck is wrong with them that they have to make those noises. Nice to know I'm not just randomly pissed off by people lacking in manners....but, seriously, why DO people feel the need to make such noises in the first place? I love the smell of the original and drinking it iced. Sadly, though, I use it more as an add in for my hair treatments than as a drink. Twinings Changes Earl Grey Recipe: Tea Lovers Outraged The Daily Mail UK |

What a great way to incorporate the art and frame into a beautiful seamless piece. This will be in the back of my mind when I go thrifting for wall art. Before & After: Tyler Gives Old George a Makeover Plastolux |

Currently using a rather beat up metal lunch box. I'd like to turn it into some sort of storage and get something that fits my water bottle, rather than having to lug it along separately. Bag, Box, Bento: What Sort of Lunchbox Do You Have? |

A pair of my co-workers used to bring meals that, when heated in the microwave, gave off a smell that one could only describe as the garbage pile behind a fish market on a hot day. It would permeate the break room, stock room, and even waft out to the sales floor. No one else could stand to be in there for the rest of the day. Definitely a good article for me right now. Almost a month ago (on his birthday, no less) I came home to him and the bulk of his things gone. I've been staying at my mom's while making weekly cleaning trips. The place has been stripped out of the last of his things, including the horrible bed, and is now finally ready for me to finish re-furnishing for move-in. Thankfully, it's cheap enough for me to easily afford and actually live better than I did before the breakup. Last week, for the first time, I felt like it was MY place when I went in to check out the repairs the landlord had taken care of while there was a lack of furniture :) The place is looking great!
