I've had this since July (12 weeks backorderd!), and it makes me very, very happy. It IS very firm, and one thing it has caused me to do is not to sink into the couch when I sit on it. So instead of my butt being on the end of the cushion and just stretching back, collapsing, the firmness of these cushions require me to sit in a healthier manner. Yup. IBM PC Jr. for me, too. My parents got it for me when I got back from "CompuCamp." Yes. I am that big of a nerd. I remember thinking "What would ever be the use of having a hard drive INSIDE the computer? I'm perfectly happy slipping floppies in and out of the computer." I love MonoPrice! And I am so, so happy that I found out about it before I got my new receiver and plasma TV with HDMI connections. I paid $12 for an HDMI cable from MonoPrice that would have cost $70 at ironically named Best Buy. I tell everyone about this site. MonoPrice.com: Cables |

I have this, and I love it! I originally bought it to be a cutting board, but it's become something else. I use it exclusively for rolling-out dough. I put the flange down and lean into it while kneading bread. Then when I'm done I wipe it down and store it on top of my cabinets.
