We painted our front door bright turquoise. I love it against our sandstone brick house--I just didn't anticipate the interior glow of the morning sun in our east-facing living room. We're thinking of repainting to a more mellow purple. Design Dare: A Brightly Painted Front Door? |

Sprayway--"World's Best Glass Cleaner"--that's the name. It's like the Anti-7th Generation; probably can't even buy it in CA, but try your local Ace Hardware. This stuff is amazing when all else fails. But, seriously, hide it behind your Method stuff in case your friends go snooping through your cleaning supplies during a holiday party. Cannot imagine buying baby furniture anywhere but on Craigslist. Our best find: 6 Moller chairs, an expandable teak table, and a sideboard for $1100 from our "$5-bill jar." What fun!
