This is our first baby, so the plan could change at any moment. So far, I definitely prefer a couch. In all my years of nannying, gliders just seemed uncomfortable to me. I wanted to get a sleeper sofa, but husband wants to keep our full-sized bed in there for guests. I'll be turning it into a big day-bed though w/ lots of pillows for nursing and eventual story-time. We'll see if this actually pans out.

Love this room! We're in the process of creating our own nursery and I adore the board-games. . .will of course be stealing this idea. Thanks for sharing you little man's room.

Well done ladies! What a cute cottage and is 100% SB beach style. This is great inspiration for my own SB cottage, well at least my bedroom. Hubby wouldn't let me do the whole house in such muted tones - I think they're lovely though. Brilliant idea to add closet space closets in this town are painfully small especially in the older cottages. You also must have a REALLY nice landlord that they allowed you to paint - also hard to come by in SB. Congrats on a great space!
