If you know you are going to get the Tetanus shot (yes it's normally a combo thing with pertussis) , take some prophylactic Ibuprofen (advil) or acetaminophen (tylenol) before you get it, and you can take some every 6 to 8 hours for the next 24 hrs (follow the directions on the medication label). This will minimize the sore arm feeling which is very common, and both these meds help at minimizing the mild fever that can sometimes happen as well. I have seen a child die from tetanus... it's an horrific way to die... it is preventable, and most of us are lucky enough to live where the prevention is made relatively simple. I was in Haiti after the earthquake, the kid managed to survive that but not the tetanus... He was brought to us too late.. but we tried... unfortunately he didn't make it. I know this is kind of a bummer comment... a little heavy for AT but ya, go get a tetanus shot... every 10 years, u can and have the opportunity to do it! For a Healthy New Year: Tetanus Shot Check |

Love your place, and i love to see the influences, and pieces from all over the world and work so well together. Probably because they have one common thing, which would be your good Pamela's Blank Canvas Goes Bold House Tour |

I've had a Kivik 3 seater in brown-gray for a little less then 2 years. My first couch that i bought, and i'm happy with it. Super comfortable, I don't have the cushion shifting problem that others reported... I find it's a nice combo of loungy (low) modern (square lines) casual look. If you end up transitioning to different styles, it can adapt. And yes you need some pillows when lying down... but who doesn't love some throw cushions! Reviews of IKEA Kivik, Carlstad & Poang? AGREE with towel... but not just any towel, go and get one of those quick dry towels, in the larger size (u can wrap ur self, but it's not like those huge bath sheets mind you...). They are brilliant. Don't take up much space, obvs dry really quick and hold up well after much abuse, You can find them in more like outdoorsy/sports stores. I lived abroad for a couple years and that thing came with me in the carry on, every time! And it's still good after 5 missions in 3 continents. I have been buying the penguin classics from amazon.. you can get them from 10 to 17$ each, which is a pretty sweet deal. They are freaking classics, and Austen, the Bronte girls, Dickens, etc never looked so cute! Rustic Cabin in Big Sur Dream Escape |

Just a quick tip from an AT loving nurse, ironically the medicine cabinet in ones bathroom, not the best place to keep medication... With the heat and humidity created by the shower/bath, not a happy place for your drugs. Keep them "high and dry" (cough... love that song...) from children and humidity.
