My Malm horror story: We had to get rid of our beautiful Room and Board upholstered bed due to bedbugs, so then bought the budget-priced Malm to replace it, since we'd already blown $1000 on the cost of getting the bedbugs exterminated throughout the house. Next thing I know, thanks to the lack of support in the Malm slat system, I suddenly developed a compressed disc in my back, complete with stabbing pains and expensive physical therapy appointments. Now we're stuck with the Malm because can't afford to replace the bed AGAIN right now. Maybe I'll stick some plywood between the mattress and the slats? I must admit the Malm LOOKS nice...but that only goes so far.
