The best studio I've ever seen! Normally I'm not a massive fan of studios, I don't want to see the kitchen from my bed, but this is gorgeous! And what a balcony! Amazing. I'm moving to NY! Michelle's Sweet and Eclectic Studio House Tour |

I make bunting just like this http://cecilymae.com/shop/letter-bunting/ and I always suggest it is hung from something, like along the edge of the crib, or along a shelf, or to a door, or across the end of a headboard. I think it looks a bit blah just hanging on the wall with nothing at the ends too! How To Finish Off Ends of Nursery Banner? Good Questions |

Wowzerumba! Do you have room for a lodger? Totally in love with the shower - how do you ever get anything done? I'd be in there all day. And the bedroom, with the roof terrace! Blimey. And as if that wasn't enough, the view. Wow. Katrine and Peter's Boston Loft House Tour |

I currentlylive in a flat and have the smallest bedroom I've ever had - so small there's only room for the bed and I have to keep all my clothes in another room. It's brilliant! I have a really comfy King Size bed with a pair of bedside tables and that's it. No telly, no clutter, no nothing. Just a little blue fireplace with a mirror over it. I love it, it's so relaxing, and I live by the sea and watch the boats from my bed... http://cecilymae.com/#wpcom-carousel-3555 Tips For Making Your Bedroom A Stress Free Zone |

Beautiful Ridgeback! What's his name? I used to live with a gorgeous ridgeback called Otis. He needed a 6 mile run on the beach twice a day. And you never wore him out, only made him fitter! Before, During & After: An Evolving Living Room |

Pleeeease don't put the TV above the fireplace! It's beautiful as it is and putting tellys above them make it look like a TV shrine. We have quite a similar lay out to you but without the windows either side of the fireplace - http://cecilymae.com/#wpcom-carousel-2335. We have two sofas, one facing the fireplace, and one at right angles which makes a lovely cosy area. I would go for a low table in the corner with the TV on. I also agree with Katharine - put the sofa a few feet out from the wall, so it faces the fireplace and the TV, then put the shelves on the wall behind it. You get a cosier area infront of the fire, and a little library section behind the sofa. www.cecilymae.com How To Arrange Living Room with Lots of Windows? Good Questions |

I can't believe this counts as tiny! It's got room for a dining room and an office!!! And it's got outside space. In England, this is not tiny, it's a family home, and it's not expensive either! House prices over here are crazy. A Charming Tiny House in Chicago |

Oh don't these houses just make you feel happy! I love them all. The house right next to us is 'raspberry milkshake pink'. It's an old cottage right on the beach and it's Listed - which over here in England means it's a historic building and there are certain things you can and can't do to it - and it's part of its Listing that it has to be painted pink! http://cecilymae.com/2011/10/10/buoys-about-the-bay/dscf9330/ 10 Crazy Colorful Exteriors for Inspiration |

I would turn the sofa 90 degrees so it faces the balcony and fireplace, either butting up against the wall by the door, or just away from it with a side table. Then you will have a clear pathway from the door, behind the sofa to the kitchen. I would put up lots of coat hooks and shelves on the wall behind the sofa. The table could go in the corner by the window. Plus, you get to sit on the sofa and look out the window! Good Entry Arrangement for Living Room? Good Questions |
