I also made several expensive sofa selections over the years so instead I bought a daybed to use as a sofa. It has a back so it looks sofa-like. It is made of wood so my cats ignore it. I mostly like the furniture rearrangement. However, the large modern lamp doesn't seem to fit. The small table lamp needs to be pulled out from the wall a few inches instead of being right up against of the wall. Living Room Layout Challenge, Revisted: A Before & After Based On Your Advice |

Regarding day 16 of cleaning. You are not getting the bathroom clean--you are just moving the germs around! (e coli, etc) Why not try using some disinfecting cleaners? And that rag under the sink--yuk! I love your enthusiasm though. Day 16: Clean One Room The 20/20 Home Cure |
