I saw today that IKEA U.S. page has three new cribs on the web site, though none of the old ones. One model is available in white or espresso and is pretty compact--comparable in footprint to the old models. The other model is white only and wide (by Ikea standards) at 31 1/8". I think it is because the mattress sort of sits inside a wooden box frame, which might account for the extra 2 or so inches. But, that's just a guess based on the pictures. I think the fact that their 2012 models are okay to sell and the fact that the other models are still on the Canadian web site bodes well for us who were hoping for a gulliver, sniglar, or somnat!
