I cook for myself the majority of the time and I buy steaks for 3-4 dollars all the time; more expensive than a package of chicken legs but less expensive than if I were buying the same meal eating out somewhere. I think the main point is that these are affordable meals people can cook for themselves without breaking the bank, especially if you were to spend the same amount on that package of chicken whether you get more meals out of it or not. @ks sunflower - there's also a translate button labeled "Traducir" with flags beside it, right above the facebook box on the right. Ugh, this makes me angry I'm not home making these right now! ;-) But seriously, I've been trying to find a good homemade alternative (or rather, replacement) for the Cinnamon Biscuits at Bojangles since they no longer make them at all the ones I go to in NC (in the Triangle and Piedmont Triad).
