Why is the heater out in the middle of summer? It takes up a lot of space and, if you do decide to go another winter with it, you should at least keep it in storage until it's needed. I would paint everything a light color, as others have suggested, and that includes the ceiling. Why can't you paint the paneling? Ideas for Badly Needed Budget Basement Apartment Redo? This reminds me of a dish I read about that is a "monster egg" - basically separate a ton of chicken eggs, bake the yolks in a mold into one giant "yolk", then boil that whole thing in egg whites in a bigger, egg-shaped mold. When you cut into it, it looks like one humongo-sized chicken egg. I think that's how I like to imagine ostrich eggs are, and not this ugly stuff. If it doesn't fit on the other walls, why not center it on the same wall as the entry door? You would probably be able to get a little more clearance on the left side of the bed so no one has to crawl over the other person (which trust me, gets old pretty quick). That would also leave the opposite wall, where the bed currently is, free for a chaise lounge, loveseat, or desk. How To Make Use Of Large Bedroom? Good Questions |
