The size of your kitchen is much more representative of German kitchens than mine ;) However, that hatch truly is unusual and amazing!

I agree with Fredanz! Your kitchen is by far my favorite... it has such a beautiful airy quality to it, but the trash can detracts from it! The shape of the window is just so amazing, nothing should be in the way of it! But otherwise, your kitchen is just perfect! It's so soothing! Love it!

I love your kitchen too, Shel! That green is just so lively! And I would never have thought to pair it with red, I would have been afraid it would have been to Christmas-y... but it really works! I love your lamp too!

Thank you everybody!

Kayeasy, yes, the shelves are indeed from Ikea; they're part of the Värde series and each is sold for 39.99$ in the US.

Thanks for the nice comment, Swisscheese, I really appreciate it!

J&H, I did make the ceiling light! It's actually quite easy to make, you mostly just need some mason jars. The first time I made a lamp, I was a bit nervous about it, but it turns out it's actually very easy, you just need to try it!

I really liked your tour! Such a peaceful Maisonette! And your Dachterrasse looks fantastic (though with the weather we're having nowadays, you probably don't get to use it much!) I really love the "poivre" and "sel" cushions. Did you find them in Berlin? If so, where? I'd love to buy some for my kitchen :)
