I got mine in a set at BBB with those 20% coupons years ago. Didn't have all the options that the Container store had so I bought misc parts there too. I think it was intermetro.

I bought the new standard APC jeans several years back and got the same story from the sales person. The other option was go in the ocean with them.

I tried the freeze method, but was ridiculous with a tiny fridge. Eventually I decided to wash them on cold with woolite dark to rid myself of diaper (droppy) butt. I hung dryed them for a while. After a few years and the color had worn out of the knees due to wear I started putting them in the dryer.

Dark jeans are a pain, but look good and are nice and toasty for the chilly months.

If I had a finish left on my tub, your advise would be splendid, but alas I have none. I think I finally figured it out.

1. Kaboom toxic blue to white spray does the trick. Method won't cut it. Hold your breath and go for air frequently.

2. Using an industrial looking plastic scrub brush found in a Jersey City Supermarket is fantastic. It takes tons of elbow grease. I consider it my weekly arm numbing workout. (Remember to change arms midway through for even muscle building). The brushes from Target left blue dye and bristles everywhere.

3. I agree with you completely on the cleaning before leaving. One more reason to relax on vacation.

I agree. In NYC, where moving the furniture can be not only a chore, but a tetris puzzle affair and a neighbor disturber, it seems great. The charge part is a terrible design though. I know I don't have enough outlets as it is, never mind finding a place to store it. I will stick to my elephant hose on the end on my scorpion hand vac.

Trumystique The place "on Orchird" was Economy Foam & Futon. They moved, but I bought a big desnse cushion from them 6 or more years ago for about $75. I am sure they raised their prices.

About time some did it! They look great. I can't wait to see the exhibition.

lol on the last comment.

I am thinking, for now, a nice thick piece of fabric may work. For the future, you may want to consider building a table/cabinet with a removable top.

I use 2 big and 2 small aluminum tins from Ikea. They were more flexible for my apartment.

Honestly there is no such thing as a personal tech gift, although some can be coveted and even draw emotions, ie ipod/iphone, anything bang olufsen, a pleo. You can customize tech like the mix tape idea of skins above.

You could also get a nice digital photo frame with pictures of places the two of you find memorable.

I am not sure I would feel comfortable putting that dingy in the dirt between the street and sidewalk on the LES. Great for a house though.

I face the same dilemma and have yet to solve it. I have a bose sound dock in my living room though and use a sony for the alarm clock. I have seen these ihome ones in all of the boutique hotel which are not bad, but not quite it for my ascetic.

I bought the dish soap after seeing it on America's Test Kitchen. It is frustrating to say the least. First, it is huge. I have a tiny Manhattan kitchen and the bottle tasks up too much of this space. Second, I agree with the slip factor. Never use with wet hands. Mine went flying. I already break enough dishes and I don't need an assistant for that part of my life. I love your products method, but please try again.

Door mat when wet, closet, or door hinge when dry. It depends on the season.

I love the magnetic ones, but I didn't have space in my kitchen. I love this take on the traditional spice rack with magnets http://www.gourmet.org/category/Storage-and-Organization/Spice-Racks/Metal-Spice-Racks/520575

I chose this one for my current apartment http://www.gourmet.org/category/Storage-and-Organization/Spice-Racks/Metal-Spice-Racks/209292

It works in the cabinet positioned exactly right, in chorus with the items on the shelves otherwise the door hangs open.

My wife and I decorate for several seasons, Halloween and "Thanksgiving" are two of them.

For Halloween, we now have some small ghost candles from Crate and Barrel last year, and a spooky one from Z Gallery. We have a glass pumkin, which we usually fill with candy corn at the end of Septmeber, but this year we elected to use a couple orange napkins instead. We have ghost and spiderweb center table mats for our dinning and living room tables respectively with 4 coasters to match each. We found this year a pretty spider web table runner and spiderweb black basket also from crate and barrel which we filled with napkins and apples.

After Halloween we switch to a more fall leaves and changing color theme.

Christmas is white, silver, and some red. Winter is just silver and white.

Spring is green! Summer is sand and rocks and clear glass with more muted colors.

That is all we have right now, but I am sure there will be more when we move to a large place.

I like the concept. I think it is a great effort. I believe it needs to be scaled back slightly. Instead of revealing all of the elements of the chair, like the prints of the wood arms which are far more beautiful in their natural state, maybe those should be hidden, where only the springs are revealed. It would break from the original, but still embrace the spirit. Good luck. I would love to see more.

About every 2-3 weeks I need to charge for about 24 hours. I just replaced mine 6 month ago after the on button no longer worked on my 4-year-old sonicare.

This is a great design and renovation.

I lived in a chambre de bonne when I was in Lyon. It was a lovely place on the 6th floor of a building w/ an elevator. The toilet was in the hall which was quite nice in such a tiny space. There was an eat-in kitchen, and built in storage in the living room. There was also the most charming terrace that over looked a small street with a church and playground across the street.
