I think beige and white go well together. Either white subway tile or headboard would be nice. It might feel bigger if you painted the walls the same colour as the tile. You can loop in the beige with natural wood accessories. They alway shook nice in a bathroom, driftwoods, unfinished wood frames etc. Which Wall Tile with Existing Floor Tile? Good Questions |

I also used a rock n play. So easy to tuck beside a bed and rock your baby to sleep. Way easier to pack away than a pack and play too. With a two year old and no space for a play room, the family room is stuffed with hiding places. Ottoman and tv unit drawers are filled with toys. The magazine rack has a handful of children's books. Do a backsplash for sure. Use wallpaper or contact paper to keep cost down. You could also paint a striped backsplash with kitchen paint too. I also like the idea of removing some of the cabinet doors. The set above the microwave would help lighten the kitchen up. I did that in my kitchen, and wall papered inside. I am glad the plant is gone. Plants in a dining room personally weird me out. I'm sure it found a happy home. As for the styling, I think the room looks great. No one claimed it was supposed to be modern 2012, just into the 2000s. Anyway it's about personal style and it looks amazing in comparison to the before. Bravo. I like the idea of keeping your bench more neutral. Since graphics date quickly, I think a stripe would be nice. I don't think it needs green in it, that might make it to literal. Maybe something tone on tone. You could probably get a new oval table second hand and just attach the table top if removing the stand it too tricky. A great way to do cheap impactful art is going to your art supply store (in Canada we have deserres) buying some craft paper, each of these retailed for less than $5. You can get frames from second hand stores or ikea. Cozy Up Living Room with New Loveseat or Art? Good Questions |
