Either rancid seasoning or it could be the actual smell of a layer of rust, which can smell pretty strange if you're unfamiliar with it. If you're curious, before using the pan, run a paper towel around the bottom. If you get black, yellow or nearly clear residue, you may have used too much oil seasoning it. If it's orange, that's rust.
Either way, strip the old seasoning and re-season.

Some even recommend repeating this process many more times.

I actually store my CIS in the oven on that second, usually unused shelf. Most of the time, I leave it in there when I cook.
1. It seems to even out the heat in the oven when I cook
2. It stays nicely seasoned
3. Saves room in my cabinets

Is HDTV and Blu-ray all that "game-changing"? It's not like it was the first of its kind. They polished TV and DVD. You could already see the football, or the gun in the bad guys hand. Did we really need to see the sweat marks and zits? Oh well, I guess you needed a solid 5. Top 3 just sounds lame.

"The goal of the study was not to identify what food was "healthier" or "safer," but if organic food was actually more nutritious, which it isn't. These points they "missed" are utter nonsense and have little to do with the point of the study."
DRHILARIOUS

I have nothing to add. Done.

Michelle looks spicy? Was there a different word you were looking for or is that an accepted term now?
Piquant wouldn't really be it since it means pretty much the same thing.

How Hot Do You Look At Home?

Nope, that's pretty much it for your basic stews. And you make sure that the fattier side of the meat is on top, so when that renders, it infuses the meat with flavor as well. I like to put an extra layer of spices on that (the very top of the pile), for the same reason.
I always thought you put the potatoes at the bottom because it's also warmest at the bottom, and they take the longest to cook.

Single point leaves - milkweed. And yes, it's basically a weed. Five point leaves - most likely, english ivy.

CLYNNEC is correct in that the very FIRST thing you need to do is figure out where there is sun at different times of day.
But, since you're on a budget, save yourself the cost and just check it at a few times a day. At least check it at 9 am, noon, 3 pm, and 6 pm. Make a rudimentary drawing of your yard and update it for each time. Then you'll know exactly how the sun rolls across.
I'll never forget the year I tried to plant potatoes, only to find out the space I chose got a LOT less sun than I originally thought since there's always a little more shade from the south than from the north.

For the record, ELYSE HK, I have a sign that I store from the local roller derby that says "Sit at your own risk." It's hung where you can see it when you're, you know, sitting.

Most everything mentioned but ESPECIALLY the words. Laugh, Believe, Bon Appetit, If you love someone..., etc. All that stuff needs to go.
We all need to avoid the fads, which is easy enough if you're paying attention. Think about it. New design ideas are often cool, but please, something like chevrons will die out pretty quickly. Good design is good design. There's not much new that's going to stay around forever.

Here are my three most important tips to design by:
1. Functional and artistic: do it. Which leads to...
2. If it's not functional, then make sure it really MEANS something to you and you'll never grow tired of it. Which leads to...
3. Don't overdo it. If your beloved grandmother collected salt shakers and you inherited the collection, pick no more than three favorites for display. Sell the rest. One is enough to remind you of sweet little old granny.

TRAVISLESSNESS, a CD is an ancient form of "technology" for listening to previously recorded audio. If you can imagine, people used to have to PHYSICALLY CARRY music from place to place. AND, you had to play it on machines that were specifically designed for ONLY CD's. And get this: even on the day CD's died out, they could only hold 700mb worth of data!
