I love your books -- so simple and yet such a treasure! I keep a blog, so everything gets posted there, but I'm typically the only one who looks back at it. I like this yearbook idea to set out on the table and let the kiddos and other family and friends flip through it.

How To Create a Family Yearbook: Controlling the Chaos of Digital Photos

I didn't read through all the comments above so excuse any repeated advice!
When my first was born I worked full time in a church and was able to bring my daughter to work. I am so glad I was able to do this, but it was, hands-down, the hardest few months of my life. I had an office away from most of the staff, but I still felt I had to be careful about noise and nursing. I ended up doing the full time work with a full time baby thing for 5 months before going to part time and working from home.
My advice is to give it a shot. Yes, your attention will be divided. Yes, your baby would benefit from your undivided attention. But yes, your baby will also benefit from you.
For me, I found I was still productive (about as productive as I was with preggo-brain!), it just became harder than I wanted to work.
Good luck!

My girls (4, 2.5) drink from the half pint canning jars and have for a while. They work out to be less than a buck a piece and they're very sturdy. My 2.5 year old has dropped (not thrown) them on the tile and they survive. In fact, we haven't broken one yet. I like that you can put a lid on them (save something for later) and they even make sippy tops for them (Amazon has them; pretty sure I read about it here.) They're also useable for other things (you know, like actually canning something). :)

We love reuseable sandwich/snack bags. A friend of mine sells on Etsy (creATEmeMOM) and my four year old has no trouble opening the velcro sealed bags. We also use lots of metal containers (check amazon). Some have plastc lids and are hard to open; others are metal lids. My 4 year old can open both though. For drinks, how about a leak proof straw cup (thermos) or just a water bottle with a screw on lid. Good luck!
