I am interested in that tiny food processor! I wonder if it would work better than a Magic Bullet.

Does it matter what kind of vodka? I'm not a big vodka drinker so would probably just pick up whatever's cheap.

A splash of lemon juice keeps the melting cheese from becoming stringy. That could also help the oil blend in.

As a large scale project, yes it would take up too much land - but look at the parcel of land this cottage is sitting on - it would not likely be able to be used for anything else. I like the idea of tucking the little cottages into otherwise unusable spaces.

Absolutely love this home. It is the most like my own style that I have seen on AT to date. I also love the way Debbie describes her photography and will be checking out her work. Great tour! I really got a sense of how the whole home fits together from the photographs, which I don't always.

Looks great, and your tape-hanging solution for painting the knobs is excellent! Painting furniture is so much work.

Nope. If you have the foresight to carry something to cover yourself in case of rain, you would bring an umbrella.

We have been planning to do this in our small bedroom! I'm worried about it feeling claustrophobic, though.

They do freeze well; my mom volunteers at our local Norwegian museum and they begin making lefse in September for their Christmas sale. I like to be there when they are making it, though - the misshapen ones get to be eaten fresh! Absolutely the best.

I have a pair of urban ears ear buds and they stay in pretty well for me. They come with 3 different sizes of buds to customize fit. However, they don't work for my husband - he has the medis, which twist and lock in. They work for him (but not me). All ears are different!

Her kitchen is nice; I love the long window which lets in so much light without taking any storage away. But more than that: what a BEAUTIFUL blog! I will enjoy reading through it tonight, I hope.

This is a look I have been considering for my future kitchen reno. Based on this (much appreciated!) roundup, I have determined that I much prefer the wood grain going vertical and not horizontal (ie: #2 and #9 are my favorites.) Thanks for helping me narrow it down!
