Not bad advice Daniel thanks, I'm going to start to do that. Any advice on shops etc that sell them for a reasonable price (it wouldnt be the end of the world if they were faux vintage mid century posters)

for ages I hated the i-phone layout, and the iphone icons, so hard to find anything (that improved tbf when the introduced folders).

But they have become so iconic now, I would hate to see them gone. They are used on advertisements on tv, magazines, etc.

Something like below...

The Marconi Union song is a bit boring, while relaxing a song does need some sort of melody. I love the French artist Colleen's work, she is seriously underrated

Im surprised by the large sizes THX are recommending. I like it, because I only have 8 foot to my (new) TV but every one says dont go over 32 inch.

Has anyone any suggestions for how to protect the new wooden flooring I put down from the wheels of the chair?

I think a rug under the chair looks a bit out of place, and I dont really need wheels anyway, where would I be wheeling to.

Thanks!

I thought fruit went off really quickly if you keep it in the fridge? With the exception of strawberries, which are generally kept in refrigeration. I assumed that was why we all keep fruit on the counter (supermarkets included)

I know banana's go off way quicker in the fridge.

I hate these Nespresso machines. Personally I think they burn the coffee as well, it taste too sharp from them. I use a conventional press for ground coffee or a stove moka top as mentioned above. I do think the stove top takes a bit too much cleaning up though, but better still than a bin full of plastic containers

My Love/Hate Relationship With My Nespresso Machine

First I've heard about this salad in a jar phenomena, sounds cool though. A couple of really basic questions...
1. Does the dressing not make he bottom ingredients really soggy? i.e. you end up with soggy peppers and very little dressing.
2. If you seal an air tight container, to keep for the week like, can he air inside it make the salad go off? Is there a container that can remove all the air?

Thanks in advance!

strange not to show a shot of a 21:9 cinema format shot. I like 11:9 but would like the option of watching a film in 21:9 if its there

$360?!? These Nespresso machines should be subsidised.

Grinding coffee beans is one of my few remaining non processed food\drink habits I have (I know I didnt grow or even source them), I don't want to switch to using whatever is provided to me in a non visible container.

Just my opinion mind.

I hate Netflix's model of releasing entire series at once. It would be self indulgent to release a 10 hour movie, why is it ok to release a TV show to be viewed all at once.

I like having to wait a week on a cliff hanger for a new episode, its how TV shows are designed to be viewed
