I purchased the magazine and I would NOT describe it as an adobe home. With all of the African art, furnishings and the style of the home, it is more akin to some of the traditional structures I've seen in West Africa. I especially like the last slip cover. It's a million times better than the old plastic granny covers. Maybe the old folks were on to something. Their furniture remained pristine so that we are able to enjoy them today. Talk about green, hmmmm. Loose-Fitting Slipcovers: Shabby or Chic? |

I like everything except the human skull. He has lots of fun stuff that sort of reminds me of the way we used to decorate before HGTV. This is wonderful as I can totally feel the person who lives here and not just some formula. He is clearly living with all he loves in an organized way. Way to go!
