I tend to agree with lorijo. We have that exact same kind of window, and don't have any problem with getting a breeze across the house. I love these posts, but I need to jump in here to introduce a moment of pedantry ... The "Russel Wright/Conant Ball Dining Set for $200" listing isn't actually a Russel Wright design. The table is part of Conant Ball's "Modernmates" line, which was designed by Mr. Leslie Diamond and introduced circa 1947. I've not seen those particular chairs before, but they could also be Modernmates or a similar Conant Ball line. They go great with the table, though, and the price is cheap, cheap, cheap! The mirror is great -- I have the same one in my guest bedroom. Unfortunately JetSet Modern misattributed it, which isn't uncommon when talking about the "Modernmates" line from Conant Ball. It jolted us out of bed here in Champaign IL. Took us a while to figure out what was happening, but it rattled our little modern ranch pretty well. Like lots of people, at first we thought it was a strong wind. Also felt an aftershock at about 10:30 this morning, but that wasn't quite as vigorous.
