I have three words for you: Wake-N-Shake. It's an iPhone app that's not peaceful nor remotely zen, but it works wonders. When your alarm goes off (one can choose from such sounds as "Lazy Bee," "War Horse" and "Latin Lover"), you have to violently shake your phone for around fifteen to twenty seconds to turn it off. I covet those floor-to-ceiling windows and views! And I just love the space. I always find the "IT'S SO IMPERSONAL/STERILE/ETC" comments funny. Water pressure, water pressure, water pressure. When your shower turns off because your upstairs neighbor turns on her dishwasher and you have to rinse off in the laundry room sink = NOT A CUTE LOOK FOR ANYONE. I don't care how crazy it makes me look - I will be turning on every faucet, every shower, every dishwasher/washer/etc. in any apartment I ever tour again.
