My least favorite--HUGE chunks! make the bites smaller so you can have a mixture. sometimes, the juice reduced with a bit of vanilla is nice to toss the fruit in.

I wish I had this problem. Thus the reason I don't buy bread often. I will eat it for all meals by itself until gone. And snacks. And grazing. I love bread!

I found this cheese in Shoprite's specialty cheese section a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to buy up the whole stock! OMG, so good. I had it in pink vodka sauce and veggies, scrambled eggs, stuffed pita...oh, bliss!

Remember that meat really should bee just a side dish! I am vegetarian and my fiance a meat lover. A god piece of meat with lots of flavor can be smaller, and cooked or grilled quickly.

I only eat corn on the cob raw. My family thinks I am weird, so I trim extra off all of their cobs before cooking ;)

I keep a 1/2 gallon of water on me at all times. most places (schools that I have worked in) have no problem with a teacher drinking water (or coffee or tea) as long as it is not disrupting. I get a 15 min lunch (if I am lucky) but tend to eat 3 small snacks over the course of a day. yougurt and berries, soup, and carrots and hummus.

When I had lunch duty in the HS, I really liked thermos meals--rice and beans, cold sesame noodles, bite sized veggie dumplings, mac and cheese, etc. I could eat with a soon whilst roaming the cafeteria.

I make huge batches of different beans and grains and freeze in 2 cup portions. My fiance has a quick easy lunch and I have the start of a dinner at all times. Why bother making a serving or two of beans when ten servings take the same amount of time? Also, bean liquor works great for cooking grains in to add a smoky depth

I have literally got off an 8 hour flight, gone to Grandma's and immediately started cooking the entire Thanksgiving meal. Why? Because when I was a kid, I was the only one who paid attention to the meal preparation, so I can make it like Grandma's used to, without worrying about a 95 year old woman overworking herself. She now calls it supervision with a glass a wine and great grand kids to play with. I really enjoy it, and I can sneak in a few vegan dishes for me :)

I NEVER pack a meal for a picnic! I love to take a good goat cheese, homemade flat bread crackers, fruit, a sharp cheddar, fresh loaf of bread, hummus (jalapeno is my fav), tabouli salad with peppers instead of tomatoes, and whatever else is fresh from the market. I also like to take a couple bottles of homemade mead
