yeah, not an option. why would you get rid of books? I hate clutter and my apartment is pretty empty in general but the one thing I would never get rid of is books.

I don't understand the eames chair craze..
But I love the house..I picked my current appartment b/c of the exposed brick ;)

How about you do something that actually helps? no woo pseudo-magic stuff (unless you are into crazy rituals, just stay away from the neighbors cat maybe)
how about you paint the room? or two? rearrange the furniture? do a serious housecleaning (soap/vinegar and a mop, no crazy stuff) buy a new sofa.
those things work wonder for me

two questions: this only shows downloads, do people actually read those books? and second: did their reading change before/after e-reader? way more relevant than book vs. ebook sales.

nice but "free" only works because everyone is supposed to take one or two. not 20 or 30. I can understand why employees at the store give them dirty looks. I already felt guilty when I took two of several colors (for my apartment, not a DIY project)
how about you use colored paper instead? (or recycled paper, even better)

I would suggest loosing the computer table. while I always love my desk, the fact that I work on my kitchen counter and coffee table more than the desk tells me it's not necessary. -think about it. you could use the dining table as dining+computer table.(assuming you are using a laptop.

PS: after reading the comments, I might actually print this out and keep in mind for future mattress buys. I am just so paranoid about bedbugs (Vancouver has a huge problem) and probably was lucky enough to have friends who got rid of their mattress in time.
