I used the MagicPlan iPhone app and it's very intuitive to use. What I liked most was to be able to use real-time camera scanning of my room, add doors and windows. It's also very easy to adjust the estimated measurements in case there were furniture obstructions during the scanning. Easy to add furniture as well. What's next? :-)

Day 5: Make a Floor Plan Apartment Therapy's Style Cure

Last month I tackled my daughter's bedroom. I'm going counter-clockwise so the master bedroom is next. None of the furniture is mine (bed, nightstand and dresser all came with the place – which belongs to my in-laws and we are 'temporarily' residing in) but I'm allowed to change the colour of walls :-)

The room is small by American standards, but 'roomy' by Hong Kong standards. At least I can fit more than a bed, with room for a small dresser and a nightstand (the closet is built in).

I'm so excited to finally get to inject some personality to this room!

Kidztory apps (http://www.kidztory.com/) are great stories with interactive elements and fun sounds.

I've got all their classic stories (currently around 12) and my children love them!! My youngest son, now 3, has been interacting with the stories since very young... the sounds usually crack him up and keep him busy for long whiles :-)
