Great home you have there. I kid you not, my living room in my old place used to look eerily similar. I like all of the quirky touches. I also like the wall color in the guest room. I've been looking for a color like that. Do you remember what brand and color? If so, do you mind sharing, please? :)

@rsr, I'm the same way when there is text. I feel compelled to read the same words or numbers ad nauseaum. Also, I think too much typography and/or signs comes off as kitchy.
I love the eclectic aesthetic, but I think this is a little too playful for my taste. I can certainly tell that she was an elementary school teacher. To each her own.

I adore your home. It's perfectly you, yet the style translates to the everyday non-designer. It's very accessible and inspirational. I love the quirky touches. And MY MY your craftiness with the DJ table!!
I am in LOVE with the wall color in the office. It reads like pale lilac with gray undertones. Do you mind sharing the paint color with fellow AT fans? :)

Beautiful home! I live in Orlando and this is the area I love because of the character of the homes. The Craftsman bungalows are so lovely in Colonialtown. It's so much better than the more common, cookie-cutter "Florida" houses. Yes, I believe a full tour is in order. No pressure :) Thanks for sharing!

Oooh! Now I see the white gloves hanging from the fireplace. Nice touch. I thought everyone was commenting about the hand bookends, of which I am also a fan. I just noticed the word decals on the mirror. Cute idea. The whole apartment is inspirational. I, too, am a proponent of the hunt of the thrift. Great use of discarded items and upcycling.

The home is so welcoming. You had me at the exterior colors. Thanks for posting the main ext. colors, but do you happen to remember the name of the door color? I LOVE it. Also, the harlequin finish in the foyer- a pleasant surprise.

Although the dining area of #9 is rather simple, the rest of the house is exactly my style. The formal dining space has canvas painted seats. It's awesome!

Nice collection of art and objects. I especially like the light bulb mixed media. I love your taste in rugs and MCM furnishings, too.

Wowzers. Way to make use of all the space. Love the found nightstand. What is that metal stand piece that's by the bamboo? I've seen that in an antique store and the owner doesn't know what it's for. Does anyone know?

I knew that looked like an Anthropologie shower curtain. Out of stock? Drat.
Your home is beautiful. I am digging the decor in the entryway. I never would have considered painting the walls black, but it really works well with the contrasting artwork and mirror.
So jealous of your vintage arc lamp in the living room :P

I adore the fact that you designed the vast majority of your space with thrifted finds. We share a similar design aesthetic. Inspiring. Ahh....

So very impressed. I especially like the kitchen nook. Different seating parts, but all cohesive. Nice airy aesthetic. How is it to brave the elements in the trailer? Is it sealed and insulated? Where did you find the brass hooks that are on the side of the kitchen counter?

Nice place. I like the little clay bird figurine/statute in the living room. And the bookcase is to die for. Although, I'm concerned about the mirror hanging directly above the sofa. It's so close. I considered placing a mirror over my sofa, but I'm afraid careless people will hit it when they plop down. Has this been an issue? How are you holding it up?
