I always do that. I usually use recipes as guidelines then go crazy with my imagination as to what I think would taste better. I keep track of my experiments in the margins with pencil. If it sucks I erase it, laugh it off and go back to the drawing board. If it's amazing I go over it in pen and continue serving it. Do You Mark Up Your Recipes? |

My mom ate Cool Ranch Doritos constantly while pregnant. This has to be true because I love those things. I actually am eating some right now! I think since they have a lot of garlic flavor that could explain why almost every food I cook has loads of garlic in it. Our couch is on the diagonal in the living room. We have a odd layout with one of those 1970s rock fireplaces jammed in the corner. The only way to make the room look balanced is putting the couch on a 45 degree angle. Also, I think the room looks way too cluttered in the after. Break Free of the Wall: Sofas on the Diagonal |
